Spouse visa certified bank statements

Hi all members,
I used to receive my bank statement online quarterly instead of the ordinary paper statements, as I am now applying for a spouse visa, the requirement is to supply 6 month bank statements, I have requested my statements to be sent out by post so the last one should be fine, I have spoken with my bank and requested 6 month statements and have been told that the whole six month worth of statements will be all together in one long file showing all transactions instead of monthly statements, they will be stamped and signed by a bank staff.
Would this be accepted by the immigration officer?

Do I have to support the bank statement with a letter to explaine the reason behind supplying a certified bank statements instead of originals?

No, if statements are from the bank and stamped, it is sufficient.
