Employment letter for spousal Visa

Hi All,

Could anyone please confirm whether the latter below is sufficient or not for a spouse visa.

Yes, on company letterhead. You should also submit a copy of your employment contract.

Application
Appendix 2
Marriage certificate
Copy of my passport (sponsor) Including all visas and stamps


X6 payslips
X6 month bank statements
X1 P60
Letter from employer
Employment contract


Tenancy agreement
Landlord letter
Driving licence to confirm my new address
Voting letter


English test certificate


Photographs
FaceTime, iMessages,line and Whatsapp
Monies sent to wife
Hotel bookings for both
Flight tickets
Hotel letter


Wife's passport
X2 passport Photos
Wife's degree certificate

Have I missed anything!! Please let me know.

You don't need your drivers license if you have tenancy agreement and landlord letter. You also don't need voting card.

Wife doesn't need degree if she has done the HO approved A1 English test.

I have read that a supporting letter from the sponsor is also required stating how did the relationship started and the plan for the future? Is this essential!

No, it is not. The form has all the relevant questions that HO/UKVI need.

Supporting letter is optional not an essential requirement.

They tend to overlook this as it is going to be biased anyway. Your requested evidence and completed forms usually indicate how genuine the relationship is (e.g. contact maintained after marriage).
