Visiting Visa

Post by lisa123 » Mon Sep 12, 2016 9:09 pm

Please can someone give me some info before we go to consult a lawyer.
I'm in uk and married to a uk citizen and about to do the second stage of my further leave to remain, i'm 4 months pregnant and both me and my husband want my daughter to come and stay with us for as few months over xmas and be here to see her little brother or sister, we want her to come here so she can see what uk is like and if she likes it then she can go back to botswana and we will apply for her visa (we have previously applied but it was refused do to the stupid legal firm who didn't give us the correct info and it was too late to do anything once we'd made the application) when she gets back there.
Do we need a visa for her few months that she will be here?

With a refused settlement visa application, highly unlikely that she will be granted a visit visa as the intention to settle is now known. UKVI will think she won't return and you are trying to circumvent the rules.

What has happened with your appeal??
