Subject Access Request

Post by back2uk2 » Wed Sep 14, 2016 5:19 pm

Hello,

Is having a SAR form along with the ILR application beneficial in anyways?

There seems to be two options - Standard (£10) and Fast track (£free).

is there any extra information provided if a Standard is requested as against Fast track one?

Please advise.

Thanks.

A SAR only confirms what information HO already hold on you.

Is there anyone who has used fast track SAR option?

How long it actually takes on fast track?

When did you send your attested passport copy as this will be the date when you applied as previously your application was incomplete/invalid?

My SAR took 180 days to respond and was missing huge amounts of information. I suggest fast track as you will get computer output and hopefully in a reasonable amount of time

Fast track is what is on the computer only. if you are soon applying go for fast track as normal could take 6 months. And has little additional value unless you are looking for something specific u don't think is on the computer notes of the caseworkers

i need to apply SAR but m confuse about few things...

1. which reference number i need to mention (is it necessary)
2. previous applications and date (is it necessary) as i don't have dates when i applied my previous application.

Please any one comment on it.

Thanks
