British National and Moving to Canada

Hi All
I am currently waiting for my Naturalisation application and hoping everything goes fine.
I wanted to ask can a British national work freely in Canada? at one point (may be in a year's time), I am planning to move to Canada and bring my parents from India and set up family there.
Just wondering how feasible it is and possibility of finding work there

obviously to make UK as my first home. However you never know the circumstances hence the question.

No, you cannot just arrive and 'work freely' in Canada as a British Citizen. There is a process to follow, see link below.

so in order to settle down in Canada for a British national is there a time limit a person a can stay from UK?

for eg, if the person has to stay in Canada for 5 yrs to get a Canadian citizen, does that put any questions on the British nationality?

Once you are British you are free to move if you choose. There is no limit on how long you can be out of the UK.

in order to obtain a Canadian citizenship, how long do I have to stay there and work?
does having family relation in Canada helps in obtaining citizenship quicker than having to work there for a certain length of period ( as 5 yrs in UK)?
