T2 ICT Long Term Staff Migrant to T2 General Dependent

Post by Kaushik75 » Sun Sep 18, 2016 9:41 pm

Hi,
I am an Indian citizen residing in UK since April 2014 with a Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff Migrant (valid for 3 years and as I understand further extendable for max another 2 years). My wife has a Tier 2 General visa (sponsored by her employer) from Sep 2015 valid till Oct 2020. My questions are following -
1) Can I become a dependent under my wife's visa?
2) If yes, what would be the duration of the visa?
2) Can the switch be done from within the country?
3) Does that affect my ability to work with my current sponsor or my ability to work in UK in general?
4) Do I need to pay the NHS surcharge?
Will await your revert
regards
Kaushik
