Why not apply via NCS and keep hold of original passport?CalvinKlien wrote:Dear All,
My wife will be applying for her naturalisation at the end of Oct 2016 and we are planing to travel at the end of Nov for three weeks. In the naturalisation form it is required to submit the original passport.
Is there a possibility if we submit the original passport along the application form and if it could be returned in few weeks, so we can go on our holidays ? OR what is the procedure for return of original passport ?
Any one have any info / suggestions....
Thanks,
Yes registered post. I didn't send any prepaid envelope either.Mal111 wrote:Hello All

I think that requirement is not relevant to you because you applied before that date. No worries either way because you can apply for the card as soon as you get your passport. I know they require an appointment but you can try your luck anyway as myself and few other people just walked in and received the PSC in 5 days. If you still want to play it safe, get an appointment now and wait for your passport to arrive.Mal111 wrote:thank you for your prompt reply and that is a relief to know they send in registered post! though im stuck now as according to the new application form all applicants from 19sept must reg for PSC and without my passport I cant.
