Length of time left on BRP for exit and reentry to UK

Hi My partners BRP needs renewing in July 2017....is there a minimum length of time that has to be left on it before it expires if he wants to travel out of UK for a holiday with myself and return back with myself. I know lots of countries ask for a minimum on Passports of 6 months is it the same for BRP ? to re- enter into UK

No, there is no minimum length required but he must re-enter the UK before it expires.
