Tier 2(G)application sent without sponsor licence

Post by worldcitizengirl » Thu Sep 29, 2016 4:41 pm

Hey guys!

I know this comes 1 year after the last reply in this post, but everything is so relevant to my application and I'm a bit stressed , so your help would be much appreciated.

I am similarly applying with a cover letter asking them to freeze my application as I'm still waiting for my employer's License and COS. However, the online application doesn't give you an option of proceeding without filling in the COS/License....How to go around this? Is there a paper application form?

Many thanks!

Please refrain from digging up old threads.

You need a CoS. There is no paper application as far as I am aware.

Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2 Employer License question

Post by worldcitizengirl » Fri Sep 30, 2016 1:12 pm

Hi guys!

I really need some guidance/help preferably from people who have been through the same situation.
I have been offered a job and my employer applied for a License of Sponsorship right after they offered me the job (mid-September), however my visa expires on the 10th of October.

I read previous forum posts about the same situation, such as for instance this one
http://www.immigrationboards.com/uk-tie ... 4-200.html

Here , two people sent their application without a COS and asked to freeze/put their application on hold and once they received the COS from the employer they sent it later to be attached to their application.
This is what I intend to do, as I think that in any case it's best to apply for a visa before I become an overstayer.

However, the issue I have now is this: I can't seem to find a paper application form for Tier 2, it's online. The online form won't let me proceed without giving the COS......

Any suggestions? Does anyone know if I can obtain a paper form?

Your help would be much appreciated!! :| :(

That topic is from 2013, things have changed since then. It is online only.

Yes, I understand that. Which is why I tried to open a new forum question. I understand it's online, is there a way around it though? I still want to send my application even if without the License Code

Online only, no way around it. Your application also won't even be accepted if your sponsor is not yet licensed.

while filling the form, a question should come when they ask your sponsor licence number. once u insert the number, it links it to the sponsor name (company).
If you cant put a number in, the next page wont come and hence u wont be able to submit and application. There is no way around it, except to wait for sponsor licence.
