What form on visa4UK site (

Hi please can you help. My sister-in-law is trying to apply for a visa to come and live in the UK. She lives in Brunei my brother is English and lives in the uk. Was advised she needs a famiky of settled person visa, so on the site clicked that it leads us onto other pages where it looks lije she has to appky on Visa4UK site. On there, there are several options. Visitor, settlement etc. We appreciate that the first visa will only last 33 months so therefore we don't think the settlement one is correct but think she's here longer than a visit so unsure. Also she gave up her job (company moved countries) as she will be coming here. My brother will earn the money. Am i right in thinking HE needs to earn the £18,600. Not her coming from Brunei? But it states it's the person applying for the visa (her)...confused. Does she have to fill out the financial requirements form as it also states....

As she's from Brunei and not North Korea.

Husband MUST earn minimum £18,600pa and provide proof of this for at least 6 months. SHE is the applicant.

VAF4A and appendix FM/SE is correct. She applies is for a settlement visa; wife

She must pay the £600 immigration health surcharge.

Yes, VAF4A is the application form and Appendix FM (financial stuff) is the UK spouse's details and financial information.

Hi me again, we are working our way through my brothers visa VAF4A form, for his wife to fill out to come here, settlement/wife. There is a section called Spouse/partner which she will fill out with his name, DOB etc but then two sections on there is a section called Sponsor. As he will be looking after her financially for the foreseeable future can he also be the sponsor in which case do we just fill out the section with the same answers as we put in Spouse. Sorry what im saying is can he be both.
