Time for IHS fee confirmation

Dear members,

I paid IHS fees yesterday evening and was about to post the application by tomorrow (09-Oct-16). Is it necessary to wait for confirmation from UKVI that the IHS fees has been received? If so, can the members share their experiences on how long it took to receive the confirmation? I am just quoting the IHS reference number in the application. Is it sufficient or do we need to take the printout of IHS confirmation (once it is received) to post the application.
