Resident card application.

Post by Britinseoul2 » Wed Oct 12, 2016 12:52 pm

My wife and I plan to move to the uk. I am her sponsor. I am working abroad and meet financial requirements. However I don't have a job offer. Is it right that we can be accepted as long as I find work in 3 months?

What is your nationality?

What is your wife's nationality?

What residence card are you applying for?
Char (CR001 not Casa)

If you are indeed British and working in Seoul then you are not considered an EEA national and cannot leverage EU free movement at this time;
you are also not invoking Surinder Singh so there is no EU (RC) route via that option at this time either.

If to rely on UK domestic route, suggest check out the more stringent financial and other requirements for a spouse visa.
All that is gold does not glitter; Not all those who wander are lost. E&OE.
