How British Passport is delivered?

Can any one please let me know how the first adult British passport is delivered? by royal-mail (signed for or normal) or by courier (which one)? I would be grateful to all of you responding my query. Kind Regards

Some areas by mail, some areas by courier. Usually just popped through your post box.
