Effect of previous visa refusal on ILR

May I ask a question related to the above refusal, but under a different category? Please advise me to post in a different thread if this is not the right place.

My spouse is going to extend his Tier 2 with me and child as the dependents (same category which we currently are too).
1. For this application should I need to provide information about my Tier 2 visa refusal in a cover letter, as a way of disclosing information and displaying honesty?
2. Should I include the refusal letter and the admin review refusal? (I am not sure how much information I should include in our extension application.)

Please kindly advice. Much appreciate your help.

2. Should I include the refusal letter and the admin review refusal? (I am not sure how much information I should include in our extension application.) HO will have the full details of the refusal.
