ILR enquiry

Post by ofn2002 » Thu Oct 13, 2016 9:45 am

Hi! I am on T1G visa and my ILR is due in early 2018. I just got a new job offer. The job is UK based however the company required me to have the contract signed in the Headquarters overseas and my first year will be paid/processed at the HQ overseas as well. Salary will be paid in UK on the second year.

As the salary will be paid overseas that there will be no UK tax record. In this case, can this type of overseas salary be counted as earnings to claim point for ILR especially under the current immigration climate?

Any suggestions to tackle this?

NB. I used to post an enquiry but just found out it was locked for unknown reason. Hence I post this enquiry. Please let me know if it is ok.

That would be because you have already posted this query in the Tier 1 General sub forum. See Multiple Posts (click)
