ILR for PBS Dependent, separate application

Post by jatinuk » Mon Oct 17, 2016 6:01 pm

Hi,

My ILR was done last May 2015 via PBS Tier1 5 years route. My wife joined me in 2011 February. So we are leaving together for last 5.5 years. I think I can apply for my wife ILR as she came to UK as PBS dependent & fulfilled 2 years staying together criteria.

I am providing following documents

- Completed Set (O) form (without the points calculator) + her current BRP + her passport
- Life in the UK test result
- IELTS B1 Life skill pass certificate-
- Marriage certificate
- 2 years Proof of cohabitation
-- Joint account bank statment
-- Provisional Licence covering address of last 2 years
-- NHS letter
-- Election/Voter Ids

Also My Kid who is a UK born, his BC application is under process

Questions
1. Firstly can I apply for my wife's ILR at this point (Hopefully yes) ?
2. Correct me if we need to use form other then Set (O) ( Considering my wife as main applicant )
3. My wife & kid were away to India for about 6.5 months from November 2015 to April 2016. Will that be an issue for dependent's ILR
4. I am working a director of limited company, so do I need to provide my earning proof in the same way as my application? e.g. dividends, invoice, manage accounts etc ?

Thanks a lot
Appreciate the help this forum does

Jatin

1. Yes

2. Set (O) yes, she is the main applicant.

3. Should not be an issue. Have you got proof of communication during that time?

4. No, you are not applying.

Thanks CR001 for prompt help (as always)

I don't have any proof as such except the call history in my phone bills. We have quite a few photos clicked together. But very few from India as well. Just verified, She was there for about 5 months.

Hope that's should be OK ?

Thanks

Hi Gurus,

I am supplying following documents
  • Completed Set (O) form
  • Depdendents BRP + Passport
  • Photographs
  • Life in the UK test result
  • IETLS Level B1 PASS Certificicate
  • My recent 6 months’ payslip and associated bank statements for the same months
  • My wife 6 months’ payslip and associated bank statements for the same months
  • 2 years Proof of cohabitation , ideally from the last extension
    -- Marriage certificate
    -- Joint account Bank statment
    -- NHS Letter
    -- Electoral/Vote Ids
-- Our child UK Birth certificate

Question - Not sure if I (Main applicant now having ILR) have to show proof of income. If that is the case I will take same set of document which I taken during my ILR. i.e Being self empoyed as director of a private limited company

Self Employed documents (attested by accountant where required)
e.g.
  • Company Incorporation Certificate
  • Invoices
  • Management Account
  • Dividend Certificates
I hope not overloading the documents here.

Thanks
Jatin
