Spouse Visa from Colombia - Questions/Help

Post by FADIJAWISH » Wed Oct 19, 2016 3:46 pm

Hi,

I have recently applied for spouse visa for my wife in Bogota- Colombia, however, I am worried about the bank statement, the reason for that I have two bank accounts and I supplied the embassy with two original copies for the both accounts for 6 months for each account, and also I have submitted 6 payslips which show an earning of 20500, however in one of the account I have one payslip earning and in the other account I have the remaining 5.

I completely forgot to write a letter explaining that there are two accounts and in one of them one payslip which is the month of March and the other bank account the remaining 5 months.

Do you think that could lead to refuse the application as the CEO might not figure out the bank statement situation ?

I have also enclosed a letter showing the payslips calculation and is include in it the 6 months payslips.

Could you please help me and let me know if I have to do anything ??

Thanks in advance

Fadi

I have recently applied for spouse visa for my wife in Bogota- Colombia, and is taking too long.

We applied on the 20th of September and since that date we applied we have received only one email confirming that they received the documents and we been placed in the queue, according to the first email we received they will be in touch once the allocate our documents for case worker, however, it been a month and still didn't receive a second email.

Official published UKVI statistics show that only 22% of applications are processed in 30 working days and 100% are processed within 60 days.

Note: That working days don't include Saturdays, Sundays, or Public holidays.

And do they normally send another email or they just post the documents back to us without even sending email ?

Unless the ECO requires further documents, you're unlikely to have any further email until you receive the notification that your application has been processed.

Published processing times in Bogota:

Please refrain from starting new topics with similar questions. Stick to one thread with questions about the same application.
