T1 dependent visa (children over 18 years)

Post by rajofdhan » Sun Oct 23, 2016 1:15 pm

Hi there,

Can anyone help me by giving some advice, my circumstances are as below;

I am on T1 Entrepreneur Visa and want to apply visa for my dependants, I got 1 wife and 3 children and 2 of my children are over 18 years now. I was trying to create an account on visa4UK I was able to create account of my wife and kid under 18. Whereas in case of my elder children I am unable to create any account. I went through the guidance that children over 18 will not be able to get dependent visa accept in the case if earlier they have been awarded visa as a dependent. I like to mention here that all of my these dependants had been awarded visa earlier when I was on Post Study Work status (as all of them were under 18). So according to guidance they are eligible to apply the visa but visa4UK doesn't allow to create any account. What is the best way in this situation to apply their visa as my dependants.

Thanks

Additionally I like to mention that I am in UK and they are applying from outside UK, as somebody guided me on this issue which was basically for dependants inside the UK.

They would only qualify to extend PBS within the UK and if they were still dependent on you. If their PSW Dependent visas expired while out of the UK, then you don't have an avenue to bring over 18 children. They will have to qualify for a visa in their own right, i.e. student visa etc.

How long ago were they in the UK as PBS Dependents??
