Hi CR001,CR001 wrote:5 years before they will qualify for ILR. The spouse settlement visa will be 2 X 2.5 year visas for each dependent. Immigration Health Surcharge of £600 for first visa and £500 for second visa is also payable in addition to the visa fee.

Those who have a British spouse will still have their residence/absence calculated on a 3 year period, though.
