Which application to make FLR (O) or FLR (FP)

Post by arts99 » Mon Oct 24, 2016 10:15 am

I will really appreciate if someone can please advise on the most appropriate application to make in the following scenario:

Husband came to UK under spouse visa around 2 years ago and his leave was valid till next year end; earlier this year the relationship broke down and British wife contacted Home Office which have now sent him a curtailment letter to leave UK or make a new application.

They have two children together out of which one is born in UK, all of them are in UK. There are court proceedings in the local county court as informal child access arrangements were not complied to by the estranged wife.

On the basis of above FLR (O) application is relevant or FLR (FP) is more appropriate please?

Thank you

The application form FLR- FP mentions two options:

Family Life as a Parent (5 year route).
Family Life as a Parent (10 year route).

What is the difference in the above two please?

Thank you
