UK spouse visa OK for entry into Ireland?

I am a UK citizen. My non EEA wife is resident in the UK under a spouse settlement visa.
Can she enter Ireland without a visa?

What is her nationality?

Republic of Ireland is NOT part of the UK. If she is of a nationality that usually requires a visa, then having a UK spouse visa does not exempt her from this.
