Your husband will need a Schengen visa. He will also need a separate visitor visa if he wishes to enter the UK.
I doubt that anyone can tell you in which EU country you should spend your honeymoon. We would all have different opinions. I suggest you browse for tourist travel sites on the internet.

Malta isn't a Schengen state.
I don't have a link to a Maltese tourist visa application and would have to carry out the same Google search as you would. Unless another member has a link at their fingertips.

Yes you do. You need to prove funds for holiday and he needs to show he is covered for health issues.

Your husband should apply for a visa for a family member of a eu citizen.
In field 21 at the schengen application form mark others and write family member EU.
The fields marked with a asterix are not applicable for your husband.
Documents:
1. Attested mariage certificate
2. Copy of your passport
3. His passport
4. 2 photos in passport size
5. Prove to travel togther. Either a written declaration from you or flight tickets.
He can apply for 90 days and multi entry if he want.

You will need to research how your husband can apply for a Maltese Schengen visa from Pakistan.

Hi,
I am a non-EU national,27, granchild of an eu citizen (Belgian) , currently employed. I wanted to visit my grandma in Belgium.
Am i entitled to the Directive 2004/38/EC?
Hope for your kind response.
Thanks,
