ILR

Post by one plus one » Wed Oct 26, 2016 9:34 pm

I have ILR but my children are still on the tier 1 dependant visa, what form will I use for their ilr application.

Also I want to know if it's okay to receive child benefit and child tax credit for my tier 1 dependant.

Set(O)

Yes, child benefit in your name and if you claim tax credits and have a spouse, it MUST be claimed in JOINT names with your spouse.

If you have a spouse, what is their immigration status?

On what basis did you get ILR, Tier 1 G or 10 years long residence?

I got ILR as tier 1 general, my partner also have ILR.
Just wanted to clarify that the no recourse on the children dependant will not come in to play on their application vis so vis child benefit

ADULTS claim benefits NOT children.
