Post by Qwerty123456789 » Fri Oct 28, 2016 12:57 pm

hi
need a help
my wife is applying for family member of settled person visa( it our second application , the first was refused) from outside of the Uk.
i am currently living in London.
do i need to fill appendix 2 of vaf4a form and submit with application, as remember i needed to do the first time(july 2016).
asking cos there is no information about it or any mentioning about it on visa4uk web page after filling online application and paying the fees.
clearly remember that i did it in July, has anything changed ?
thanks

have a questions about proof of savings.
apparently it is a requirement to summit the bank statements up to the application date and i think it has to certified ones.
1 i have savings in the uk bank. over required minimun of 62500, ( there was 55000 from 2015 and i top up with 15000 on 20th of may) , we have booked an appointment on 04/11/16 which makes 5,5 months of 70 k . do u think it will be suffishient time?

if i print out online copy of my statements on the date of submition of the application, they wont be stamped by my bank, as i cant be in 2 countries in one day.
or is it something i dont understand?
please advise
thanks

It needs to be original bank statements and must not be older than 28 days when visa app is submitted and it must be a minimum of 6 months that the required level of savings have been held in the account. There is no discretion for this.

No. All of the £62,500 savings must have been held in an accessible account for a full 6 months.

thanks
one more question
i have current account on the top of the saving ,which has a balance of 18-20k since january of 2016 till now,
can i submit statements from both acc
current acc balance 18-20k since january 2016
saving acc 55k from 15/04/2015 till 20/05/2016 , then 70k from 20/05/2016
if consider both accounts then from begining of the year i have at least 72k on easy access acounts

would they consider both acc?

sorry for may be stupid question, but kind of worry about their decisions?

Yes, you can submit savings from two accounts, originals, not dated later than 28 days before appointment.

Be prepared too for UKVI to maybe request evidence of source of funds.

You don't need proof of income if you are using savings.

Didn't realise you were responding to a statement I made not a question I asked.

You can state 'savings from earnings' and attach P60's if you wish.

Photos, proof of contact while you're apart...phone calls, skype, emails. How often you visit, flight tickets etc.

thanks for your answers guys

my wife is going to submit her her second application for visa to ECO

documents we submitted

translated copy of marriage certificate

my and her Dercee absolute from previous marriage

printouts of my flights to see her (11 trips period of 1 year + 2 holidays together)
photos , wedding photos around 30
whattAPP conversation ( full version downloaded on cd , as its 6000 pages of A4) , we printed 30-40 pages from different periods
letters from our friends and family, saying that they see as a couple.

level A1 English skills certificate (5 months old)

TB certificate (4 months old)

my savings , 2 Uk bank accounts statements , savings account cover period April 2012 -31.10.16
current account covers period 01.04.16-31.10.16
both are stamped in the branch and combine shows atleast 72k for 7 months pereiod.
5 consecutive P60's to prove the source of the savings, plus my declaration where i am explaining why and where i go this money.

certified photocopy of my passport(front page) and my permanent residence card, letter which came with the that card.

with my name- land register copy, mortgage provider statement, utility bills, copy of Deeds for the house ( its 3 bedroom)

appendix 2

application itself

is anything else do you thing i need?

thanks for your replies

its our second application,
the first was refused - on the balance of probabilities , not enough evidence that our marriage is genuine , mine Decree absolute was missing, the source of saving was questioned and they did not consider/understood that i submitted statements from 2 accounts , balances on which were more than required for visa and were held more then 6 months and statements were 3 weeks old.

i am trying to be careful this time
please advise

Print a selection covering the period you've spent apart.
