No problem. Your wife can qualify with her income alone. She needs to submit 6 months payslips with 6 months corresponding bank statements, with the most recent being no older than 28 days on the date she submits the application.navhonda84 wrote:Hi,
My wife's spouse visa is about run out and need to apply for an extension in Jan 2017.
My question is can she sponsor herself for the visa, i.e the financial side of things. She earns just over the required amount, 20K. As i am self employed i don't have a payslip of such. So can she sponsor herself for the visa.
When we applied the first time, I was a full time employee but since this April i am self employed.
Could anyone help.
cheers for the quick response bud.. thats one thing off my mind..Casa wrote:No problem. Your wife can qualify with her income alone. She will also have to pay the £500 NHS surcharge in addition to the visa fee.
You need 6 pieces of correspondence/bills etc in joint names spread as evenly as possible over the 2.5 year periodnavhonda84 wrote:cheers for the quick response bud.. thats one thing off my mind..Casa wrote:No problem. With regards to document list, the below should suffice, right:

Council tax bill (both names)
water bill (both names)
Gas and electricity( both names)
payslip (6 months)
bank statement (6 months)
employer letter from my wifes employer
marriage certificate (indian)
NARIC cert
do i need to include our child's birth cert..?? NO
anything else you can think off..

shoot... cant give them that.. we only moved out this april.. used to live at the parents... we only have joint council tax, water and gas/electricity from April this year.Casa wrote:Yes. Balance is irrelevant
The proof of joint address should be from at least 3 different sources. You say that you already have the following:
Council tax bill (both names)
water bill (both names)
Gas and electricity( both names)
A general guide is one document every 4-5 months or so throughout the 2.5 year period.
that will take some doing.. but can be done.. thanks for your input Casa... much appreciatedCasa wrote:Anything you've kept hold of showing the name/names, address and date will be accepted.
If you don't have 6 in double names you can submit 12 in single names.
Also include a letter explaining that you were living with parents.
we still have not changed our bank address to the new address. thats the issue... its still at my parents house... thats the main issue...Casa wrote:If you're considering an attempt to convince the Case Worker that you have continued to live with your parents, I suggest you have a re-think.
You're registered for Council tax at your current address which will be apparent when checks are carried out.
....but you're registered with the Council as living at your current address for Council Tax.navhonda84 wrote:we still have not changed our bank address to the new address. thats the issue... its still at my parents house... thats the main issue...Casa wrote:If you're considering an attempt to convince the Case Worker that you have continued to live with your parents, I suggest you have a re-think.

You could remove the company name but don't call as rubbish company. Once it is accepted by the Home office then ?.
I have tried to post my own but system denied. The rude is calling rubbish
