schengen visa type

I am British citizen but my wife is still on spouse visa as she has to complete 5 years for ILR. Now we are planning to go to France and some other schengen cities later.

Can anyone please let me know which type of visa she has to apply?
There is two type. one is tourist visa and second is Financially dependent ascendant of an E.U. citizen Short stay (less than 90 days).

If she applies second type how much visa she will get?

Hi, your wife can either apply for a tourist/visitor visa if she wishes to travel without you, or, if you are travelling together, she can apply as an EU family member.

Schengen visa. You are not an EU citizen for this purpose. You will have difficulty boarding flights if she does not have the proper visa.
