Hello Moderators and Experts
I am applying for FLR (M) and am in a dilemma with regards to English Language Requirement
In addition to my Basic Degree in South Africa, I have studied two Post Graduate Courses in the UK and both of these were taught by well known and respected universities in the UK.
My first course was a one year full time course and the aim of this course was to covert my foreign Professionals Qualifications to a UK recognized qualification to then allow me to work for the NHS.
The second course was another Post Graduate course (advance practitioner) which I have just Submitted and await results. This course was under Master of Science but I only did a part of it related to my practice just to allow me to expand my scope of practice and become as Advanced Practitioner. I will have a letter from University for this but do not see my course awarded before my VISA application.
The guidance for English Language requirements are very vague and do not specify what qualifications can be accepted and what is not acceptable.
I tried to submit my qualifications on UK NARIC and it only accepted my primary degree that was taught in South Africa but did not accept any UK qualification. So I am entirely sure if this means all UK qualification are accepted.
Lastly, I had also done the IELTS academic test in 2010 which all foreigner Healthcare would need to show but I suspect they will not accept IELTS results more than 2 years old.
Do I need to do another English Test? Or can I use my Qualifications to prove English Proficiency.
Your guidance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
