Over 18 dependants advice - ILR (Ancestry)

Post by KS2 » Sun Oct 30, 2016 9:43 pm

Hi,

We are applying for ILR using the premium service in a few weeks an are compiling our forms, set (o).

We have to submit separate forms for our kids as they are now 18 years old. I am not sure whether to select Ancestry on their forms or choose other. Any experience would be greatly appreciated.

Ancestry if they hold ancestry visas. Are they still wholly dependent on the main Ancestry visa holder?

Hi, yes, my wife is the ancestry visa holder and we all accompanied her as dependants back in 2011. I will include my application as her dependant but our twins daughters are currently in a gap year starting uni Sept 2017. They are living at home and are dependant although they have part time work to raise money to travel with in the summer of 2017.

In addition I would also please like some advice in filling out section 5 - finances. 5.1 I guess would be rented, 5.2 would be No, 5.3 would be what they earn for their part time work (only 1 works currently). I am not sure what to put in 5.4 as we pay for everything out of our bank account. I appreciate any advice.

Filling in these forms is more daunting than I expected. Anyone able to advise on the previous questions ?

Sorry to seem impatient, but I just want to complete everything as soon as possible to allow time in case I have missed anything. Does anyone have any feedback on these couple of items ?

Hi All,

We have our appointment in less than 2 weeks time and I have a few questions relating to the set(o) form. Most of the posts are for tier applications, so I was hoping for some advice specific to the ancestry route.

Topics merged. It is not a very popular question we get due to it being a relatively easy application to make compared to other routes.

Read this users extensive topic, questions and success.
