ICT Dependant To Tier2 General

Hi, I'm currently in UK on ICT-Tier2 dependant visa and I would like to change to Tier2 general visa.

1. Is it possible to apply from within UK?
2. I was previous only UK through ICT - Tier2 Short term visa till May2016. Does cooling-off period applies, even though am already in UK?

No, you have to apply from home country. Full and proper RLMT process to be completed by your sponsor.

When did you become a ICT Dependent? How long was your ICT Short Term valid for?

My ICT short term visa was Valid till 8-Jun-2016 . I became ICT-LT Dependant on 18-October-2016

You can apply for Tier 2 General from your home country on of after 18 October 2017.

Sorry.. I don't really understand this. I thought at the maximum it will be 8th-June-2017?

Did you switch within the UK to your dependent visa?

My ICT- Short term visa end on 08-Jun-2016. I went back to my home country on 8-Jun-2016. I applied for my dependant visa on 1st October 2016 from home country and came back to UK on the 17th Oct 2016.

You didn't provide that detail in your opening post You can't expect members to guess your situation. You could have applied in country doing a postal application and it could have taken the same time to 18th October. It's all about stating the facts accurately if you want any constructive advice.
