UK Tier 2 dependent visa

Hi,

I live in UK on a tier-2 (employer sponsored ) work permit for 3 years. I have lived almost 2 and half years in UK. My husband and my 6 year old child would like to apply for a dependent visa to come over and live here with me. Can anyone please guide me the process and the documents i and my husband has to submit in order to apply for the tier 2 dependent visa.

If you only have 6 months left on your visa, that is all your dependents will get, they won't get a longer visa than you.

Thank you for your reply. I will have to apply now as my daughter is getting very restless and my employer said they will renew my visa in 6 months.
