FLR(M) Extension - Various Questions

Post by mishra_kiran » Mon Nov 14, 2016 12:54 pm

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am looking applying for spouse visa extension (Family route extension) and I need Minimum CEFR level A2 (i.e Minimum 4.0 in Speaking and Listening )
Just FYI that I have given exam twice and in first attempt, I scored
Listening: 3.0
Speaking: 4.0

where as in second attempt, I scored
Listening: 5.0
Speaking: 3.0

As you can notice, I have scored minimum points required but in different attempts.
I just wanted to know can I combine these results and apply for spouse visa extension as it is nowhere mentioned that I need minimum points in SINGLE attempt.
Thanks

You need A1 if you are applying BEFORE may 2017. A2 is only relevant from May.

You need the SELT A1 certificate from an HO approved test provider.

NO. Two failures don't make a pass.

Use Existing IELTS results for Spouse Visa Extension

Post by mishra_kiran » Mon Nov 14, 2016 1:20 pm

I am currently in UK on spouse dependent visa on 2.5 year route and and my visa is about to expire in December. I did cleared my English Test in October 2014 and was awarded UK spouse visa .

Now, on the page 42 of latest FLR_M application (extension of stay in the UK as the partner), it states that If you sat an English language test before 6 April 2015 you will not have a SELT unique electronic reference number. You may still be able to use your test with this application but only if it was accepted as part of a successful previous partner or parent application.

Just wanted to know can I use the same certificate for spouse visa extension as well.
Thanks

No need for a new topic with each question you have on the same application.

It is mentioned on the page 42 of latest FLR_M application

I have cleared an IELTS test in October 2014, Can I use that for as it was accepted as part of a successful previous application as I fit into this category.
