Has any one had a similar experience. I was refuse nationality and ban for 10yrs.
The HO claim I lost my passport and informed the police but not my country of issue?
I did change my name three years ago and at the same time made three unsuccesful application for a new biometric residence card. The HO claim this was an attempt to have a double ID as they claim I use my old name and my new name on the forms.
I responded through a solicitor. firstly I did not misplace any passport and the passport the HO claim I misplace is my current passport. 4 years ago UCAS misplaced my passport and I reported it missing and my home country issued me a new passport. I had all this forms still with me. The Home office did drop this charge. But held the claim I have use two names at the same time on my applications for replacement BRC. I still have the front sheets of all these three applications that show the contrary but the HO has stock to their decision to ban me for 10yrs.
I have the last complete application form which clearly states the old name and my new name and is stamp and dated by the HO. I have taken the case to my local MP still yet the HO will not reconsider the case.
What I have learn from my case is; my initial application for replacement ID card was noted on the HO system but the last two application also rejected, HO did not update it own system. meaning although I have change my name and sent the proof. The HO has put a blind eye on thema dn kept refering to me in my OLD name. Even it took the HO 7months after my nationality aplication to refer to me in my new name
Should I be blame or even worse of all 10yrs ban. Worse of all the HO states I have no further grounds to open this case.
NOTE: This decision was taken before I could locate these front sheets carrying the home office stamp and date. What is disturbing here is, it seems the HO does not offer client open grounds to proof themselves. Are there Human working in the HO or robots?
Has any body had such an experiemce with the HO, share your experience. Any advice as to what to do?
