Refunds on visa/health surcharge after lay off?

Hi there, I'm here on a 5-year Tier 2 visa, however after 11 months, I was laid off. I have not been able to find a new employer here and I'm near the end of my curtailment.

In these situations where I did not fulfill the term of my visa, but it was not my choice, are there any refunds available?

Probably not. You could try for a IHS refund but no guarantee. But you certainly won't get a visa fee refund.

What date does your curtailment letter end?
