Tenancy question for spouse visa

Post by richeyrestored » Fri Nov 18, 2016 11:37 pm

So i have heard that i needs a assured short hold tenancy agreement for 6 months to apply for a spouse visa. So my question is this, if my tenancy agreement is for six months and starts in november and i apply for the spouse visa in march i will only have one and half months left on the tenancy will this matter?

In effect if i plan to apply in march do i need a 12 month tenancy?

You 'heard' wrong. You just need a tenancy agreement and be living in the property and have bills to prove it.
