Getting my Son to UK - Settlement Visa

Post by yuemceee » Mon Nov 21, 2016 12:42 pm

Hi. I have some questions regarding visa application of a familu member. My son is turning 18yrs old on April 1, i need to get him before he turns that age. So i need £18600 financial requirements right? I am working as nanny for 5years in same employer earning £800 per month. I also started working in a fastfood this November. So if i apply him on February, which is my payslip on my second job would be 4months prior to the application. Is there a possibility that the visa will be granted? Please. Any advice.

No, it won't. You have to provide evidence of salary for 6 months, with payslips and bank statements showing your earnings.

What is your immigration status?
Char (CR001 not Casa)

Additionaly, what is the immigration status of your child's other parent? Or are you a single parent with sole responsibility?

Hi my status is ILR. And yes i'm a single parent and have a sole responsibility to my son. How many percent do you think the chance of getting a visa? Though i can only present a 4months payslip on my second job.

The application will be refused without 6 months of payslips + the corresponding bank statements showing the pay has been deposited into the account.
(Casa, not CR001)

If you are not sponsoring a partner, but a child, then adequate maintenance is required.
