T2 ICT Long Term visa to Tier 2 General

Hi,
I had entered UK for the 1st time in Nov 2010 under Tier 2 ICT Long term Visa issued during the same month. I have stayed and worked in UK since then.

Since ILR is not possible after 5 years under this visa, I am assuming after 10 years of my stay in UK, I should be eligible for Naturalization. If this is incorrect please let me know.

I have completed almost 6 years stay in UK now. Assuming the above is correct, I find another job and get a Tier 2 General Visa, would any cooling off period apply? And would I still be eligible for Naturalization after 4 more years.

You need ILR before you can apply for naturalisation.

No, 10 years of legal stay only leads to ILR assuming current rules apply

I have just a follow up query based on the response.

I have completed 6 years of legal stay in UK under Tier 2 ICT Long Term Visa issued in November 2010, If I now change my employer and obtain a Tier 2 General Visa (in 2017), then would I be eligible to apply for ILR in 2020 (under 10 year long term stay rule starting from 2010 when I first entered UK) or in 2021 (under 5 years completion in Tier 2 General obtained in 2017)
