Tier 2 G to ILR - days outside of UK in each 12 month.

Post by ravisb_2014 » Sun Nov 27, 2016 9:09 pm

Hi All and Gurus,
Hope you all doing well.
Apologizes if this question is already asked and answer. please direct me to the same.

From Tier 2 G to ILR, I know we can apply after 5 years and for each 12 months, we can't stay more than 180 days. Correct me if I am wrong please. Provide the gov.uk link please.

My question is - is there any rule that you can't stay outside of UK for more than 21 days in one stretch ? Just got this information from one of my friend. She mentioned that her husband Tier 2G colleagues applied for ILR and they were questioned by the immigration office.
If there is something like this, please provide the link.

Thanks always for helping everyone.

My question is - is there any rule that you can't stay outside of UK for more than 21 days in one stretch ? No, there is no such restriction.

Don't believe everything you 'hear'. There is probably much more to 'their' story perhaps. HO are allowed to question anyone if they wish to.
