Baby born in UK, can travel on Indian passport without visa?

Post by sagihaider » Mon Nov 28, 2016 11:35 am

Hello,

I and my wife are on Tier 2 General standard & dependant respectively. Recently we had a baby girl.
We have already applied for her Indian passport. My wife wants to travel to India with the child and apply for her dependent visa from India.

My questions are:

1. Is it okay for my child to travel to India without UK visa?
Will there be any problem for him in getting out of UK or getting into India?
2. Can we apply for her dependent visa from India? What is the process from India?

Many thanks in advance.

1. Is it okay for my child to travel to India without UK visa? You don't need a UK visa to travel into India.

Will there be any problem for him in getting out of UK or getting into India? No, should not be an issue.

2. Can we apply for her dependent visa from India? What is the process from India? Yes.
