Application for Spouse Visa from India

Post by SarahSaha » Tue Nov 29, 2016 5:44 am

Hello,

My husband (Indian) is applying tomorrow for his Settlement visa in Mumbai. I am here with him. From other posts I have seen that the UK spouse has included certified copies of their passport. Is this necessary? I have not got this, but he can take my original passport with him, along with photocopies.
In regards to photos, what is the best way to print them, as I saw that everything submitted should be A4 size. Photos stuck to paper, or they can be printed off direct to paper?
For financial requirements my husbands bank statements meet the required amount, but I was going to enclose my UK savings too. My mum posted me the originals, but unfortunately one of them is missing. Is it better to not include them at all?

Thanks in advance!

Why are you using your husband's bank statements? Does he have substantial savings held for a minimum of 6 months?

Pointless submitting your bank statements if you are missing one. You need a full 6 months of bank statements, every page.

Yes it is required to submit the UK passport copies.

Myself and husband have sufficient funds held in India for over 6 month period, so we are using that for the financial requirement. i had wanted to include my UK bank statements, but unfortunately there is a gap in what I have, so really I have August to November available to submit.
Which copies are required of my passport other than the picture page? I have been living in India for the last three years with my husband, and can submit my passport if required, as I do not have attested copies of the passport.
Regarding the photos I am sticking them to A4 paper, is it correct that everything submitted has to be A4 size?

Hello,
Should you fill Appendix 2 out by hand, or type it? Thanks
