Lost Indian Passport and BRP, how to get replacement?

Hi,

Last week I have lost my Indian Passport and BRP. I have already reported home office regarding BRP and requested to cancel it.

Can anyone please suggest me what is the procedure to get replacements as I am bit confused here. Because Indian embassy issues a temporary passport (with 2 years validity) if no BRP is provided and I believe I can't apply for replacement BRP card without Passport.

Also I wanted to know what is the procedure and supporting documents required. I am on ILR in UK.

Thanks Char,

I have already gone through that form and looks like I can apply for BRP without passport as it is like to like replacement (unless new passport number can be cause of concern) and I got it less then 2 years ago.

But my second question I apply for Indian passport (non-temporary) without valid BRP. Because looks like Home office takes about 3 to 6 months for BRP replacement.
