Absence outside UK

Hi

if someone is given leave to remain on the basis of family & private life then How much time he can spend out of Uk in total?
does the signel trip must not exceed more than 180 days ?

No, there is no absence limit but absences should be limited and for good reason, i.e. not living abroad and only 'visiting' the UK.

For ILR, likely all absence of more than 6 months will have to be declared.
