Tier 1 G dependent visa extension

Post by jay15 » Thu Dec 01, 2016 10:44 pm

Hello,
I’m currently holding ILR visa which I got from Tier-1 General(5 year route). My wife got the dependent visa based on my tier-1 general and now she is due for renewal. Please can you let me know under which category she should apply her extension? either PBS dependent or FLR?

Appreciate your reply

Many thanks

She should apply to extend her current visa. If she applies on FLR(M), it will reset her clock to zero and she will need a new 5 year period (2 X 2.5 year visas) before she will qualify for ILR.

Thanks @Vinny & @CR001. Ok I can take the PBS dependent route as it seems to be sensible than FLR. Sorry to be a pester - My British citizenship application is under processing, finished my biometric - Given the situation when my wife submits her PBS dependent application for extension and assume my status has changed from ILR to British citizenship - would my wife application will still be considered valid?

Many thanks

It makes no difference to the route she can apply for.

Thanks CR001, Finally i have made online application for my wife's PBS dependent visa extension. And they sent an document checklist ,in that they asked for my wife's passport and 2 photos as mandatory documents and bank statement as supporting document. They asked to send these. But they haven't asked for my passport copy, utility bills ,NHS registration document etc.,
what can i do now? The 3 documents are enough.I'm confused

Can anyone please help me on this.

regards
