I have been granted ILR two months ago with my wife still on TIer 2 Entre Dependent
I want to apply for my sons UK passport who is now one and half year old born in the UK. I havent taken any passport of my country for him thinking I can register him here in the UK. His birth is registered as per the procedures in the UK Not having your country passport does not mean he i9s stateless. He is still the same nationality as you.
Please advise on the following
what is the procedure Complete form MN1. You can submit using NCS at the council as you then get to keep all your original docs.
where can i find the forms vinny has provided the links below.
How much is the fee Currently £936 and passport fee is extra
is there any one day procedure I can go to Home office in Person No
Please advise
THanks in Advance
It wouldn't have mattered if you did; it makes no difference to his entitlement to British citizenship.dancingguy05 wrote:I havent taken any passport of my country for him thinking I can register him here in the UK.
Careful here. This might not be true depending on a whole slew of possible circumstances.CR001 wrote:dancingguy05 wrote:Hi All

OP's nationality is Indian. Child would assume the same Indian nationality as parents as child is not automatically British.ouflak1 wrote:Careful here. This might not be true depending on a whole slew of possible circumstances.CR001 wrote:dancingguy05 wrote:Hi All

thank you Noajthannoajthan wrote:Most of your assumed answers make sense.
Child is Indian.
If a 1.3 application settled parent should sign.
Q1.3 & 1.36 & Section 3 - skip as N/A.
Ofcourse proud Mom can give consent too.
Google 'naturalisation fees on Gov UK' for payment form.
Suggest apply via NCS.

how abt the following
7.2 Mother’s consent- CAN MOTHER CONSENTEVENTHOUGH SHE IS ON A T1E DEPEDENT. VISA. OR I MUST ONLY SIGN YES, she must sign. Her visa category has nothing to do with giving consent.
8.1 I (full name in block letters): WHOSE NAME SHOULD BE HERE? MY CHILD OR ME AS A FATHER? Your name
8.5 I confirm that I have enclosed the appropriate documents --PLS LIST ONCE AGAIN THESE DOCS Have you read the MN1 guidance notes??? Clearly states on page 29 in addition to proof of your ILR https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... r_2015.pdf
8.8 AND 8.9--DO I NEED TO TICK THESE BOXES?? No
A 3(1) discretionary case is not the same as a 1(3) entitlement case.dancingguy05 wrote:http://www.immigrationboards.com/member/BIG%20Dobby/
