Acknowledgment Letter AN6(2) instead of AN6(1)

Post by mrdell80 » Tue Dec 20, 2016 4:00 pm

HI, My wife was naturalised and then I applied. I applied under 5 years of T1G + 1 year of ILR and submitted all correct docs via NCS in October 2016.

I am hoping to have a decision soon and realised now that my ack letter says applied under AN6(2) (dependent of wife). I have not submitted my marriage certificate, etc.

I presume this is a minor error on HO as they dont scan the application in detail before sending out the ack letter. Since I have used the NCS, it is their responsibility to make sure they check and send my application and docs correctly.

Should I be following up on this error with HO or shall I just wait and see what happens?

Smilar thread with no outcome - http://www.immigrationboards.com/britis ... l#p1433725

Thanks,

Just to conclude, I didn't get in touch with the HO or take any action. I received my "invitation to the citizenship ceremony" letter last week! Good luck everyone.
