Post by Mak111 » Tue Dec 20, 2016 10:47 pm

dear all,
during my application for tier 2 as dependent partner, i was asked in the IHS about my husband visa expiry so i entered his visa vignette expiry date so i was asked to pay zero amount, so is this correct? and if not, how can i correct the mistake?
please note the my husband got his visa but still did not travel to the Uk?.

The visa vignette is only valid for 30 days, that is not the expiry of the visa, it is the date by which he MUST enter the UK. He needs to travel to the UK within this time and collect his BRP which will have his full visa validity on.

How long is the visa he applied for and granted? If he applied for 3 years, the letter should state something about expiry. Why did you not apply at the same time as your husband?
