ILR Dependent

Post by Anics11 » Wed Dec 28, 2016 3:32 pm

Hi,
I moved to UK in September 2015 on a tier 2 general dependant visa. Unfortunately, in Jan, 2016 my husband was made redundant. He has yet not received letter of curtailment and is eligible to apply for ILR under 10 years long residence rule. However since he wasn't working for last 6 months we do not have 6 months income to show for my Dependant application. I got employed in September 2016 and have completed 4 months with my current employer now and my salary meets the required annual salary amount. I will complete 6 months in March. Under the above stated circumstances, what is the best option for us to switch our visa types from tier 2 to ILR for both my husband and myself.

Please advise

Thanks

Assuming of course that HO have your husband's current address to send correspondence

You could apply on FLR(FP) partner route which is a 10 year route to ILR if you do not meet the financial requirement or have all the evidence.
