Urgent question about Visit visa

Post by TheWisdom » Thu Dec 29, 2016 11:15 am

Hi members,
my mother is filling up her online visit visa application form for UK. There is a question that

What permission do they have to be in the UK?

The question is about my visa status. there are only these options to select.
1) They have a temporary visa.
2) They are in the UK Permanently.
3) They do not have a visa and not in the UK permanently.
4) I cannot contact my relative.

I need an advice for my mother's application form to select one of these options. I'm living on spouse visa, with my British Citizen husband. And I have Resident Permit card for about 2.5 years validity (still valid until Jan 2019) . Which option I should tell her to select? Please advice me

Thanks in advance.

Option 1 or Option 2 and submit evidence of your visa status.

that's the problem. I'm confused between option 1 and option 2 . I don't feel that it is temp visa or can I be considered living in UK Permanently?

don't know...

You are on a settlement visa implying 'permanent' but your visa is temporary as it has an expiry date.

Option 2 if that is what you think is more appropriate.

Option 1 is more appropriate for u.
And obviously, u will put your husband details as well in the application form because he is also a relative of your mother. Your husband will choose option 2.
Don't worry if u have a temporary visa. Your mother side documents should be up to the mark to get the visit visa. Especially good solid reasons to go back.

Hi members,

now i got another question to ask.

Question : What is your employment status?
The options are below.
1) Employed
2) Self-employed
3) A student
4) Retired
5) Unemployed

But I don't know which one I should select. Because I feel neither is relevant. They have their properties, from where they get rent every month. They got these properties from grandparents. That is their basic source of income for long years. As they never did some proper job, from where they get some retirement etc. So could someone please guide me about this question as well. Thanks
