What form to use for application as a parent of children that as spent 7years in the country?

The 7 year child rule was changed significantly in 2012 and no longer leads to ILR for either the child or the parent directly.

The 7 year children rule now only allows for FLR(FP) to be issued to the child if it can be proven that it would be unreasonable for the child to leave the UK. Why would it be unreasonable for the child in question to leave the UK?

276ADE (1). The requirements to be met by an applicant for leave to remain on the grounds of private life in the UK are that at the date of application, the applicant:...
(iv) is under the age of 18 years and has lived continuously in the UK for at least 7 years (discounting any period of imprisonment) and it would not be reasonable to expect the applicant to leave the UK;

In addition to CR001's questions, what are the immigration statuses of both parent and the child currently?

If a child is completing 7 years in UK, what type of visa we can apply for. I have read they will get a further leave to remain 30 months visa. So my question is for what visa parents can apply and whether we will get the documents back from home office after getting leave? Will we be able to travel outside uk? I assume for ILR we will have to wait 3 more years to make a 10 year route..Is that correct? Please clarify..

If a child get Further leave to remain for 30 months (therefore parents too), will the held documents and passport be given back? Can they travel outside uk?
