Naturalisation October 2015 still waiting!

Hi all,

My husband applied for his British Naturalisation 20th October 2015. We used our local NCS. However we have not received an outcome yet. Biometrics were enrolled as per requested but why are they taking so long? They haven't asked for any additional information or requested any sort of documents so I wonder what is delaying our application. Anyone in a similiar situation? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

HO will take as long as they need to take. There is no 'average' processing time, it has also been the holiday season, so likely HO is short staffed till next week.

Some people wait many months, other wait a few weeks. We have members on the forum who are waiting from mid 2015 and 2014 for an outcome of their applications.
