Indefinite Leave to remain and travelling

Post by AhmedZ » Sun Jan 01, 2017 4:35 pm

Good Afternoon All,
Hope everyone is having a good day. I just have a query which has been troubling me for a while. If anyone could help i would be hugely great full.
Recently i applied for ILR on the 02/11/2016 as my humanitarian protection status was about to end.
My question is would i be able to travel to my home country (PAKISTAN) once i have obtained ILR and what documentation would be required.

Thank you

ZA

On re-entry into the UK the Immigration Officer is highly likely to question how you have been able to visit a country from which you have applied to the UK Government for humanitarian protection,
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

The advice you were given last year will still be the same. Please continue in your existing topic so that members who wish to reply to your post understand your full circumstances.
